DESCRIPTION:Cape Symphony Presents invites you to a gathering in the Celtic tradition\, featuring a session with fiddler Rose Clancy\, followed by a community dance led by traditional dance caller Summer McCall with live music performed by Cape Cod's own Kelly Family Band. The event is from 6:30 PM   9:30 PM on Saturday\, September 16 at Cape Symphony's Falmouth campus. The event will begin with a Celtic session led by Rose Clancy of the Chatham Fiddle Company. Rose is well-known on Cape Cod for her popular Tuesday Night Concert series\, featuring Celtic songs\, fiddle tunes\, and Irish banter. The dance\, led by Summer McCall with music by the Kelly Family Band\, will begin at 7:30 PM. Summer will draw from Irish\, Scottish\, Cape Breton\, English folk and New England folk dance traditions including contra dancing and square dancing. The dances will be easy and fun to learn. No prior experience is necessary\, and all are welcome! The Kelly Family Band will feature Rose Clancy on the fiddle\, James Kelly on vocals\, bouzouki and banjo\, Billy Kelly on vocals and guitar\, Maureen Kelly on the piano accordion\, and Roisin Kelly on second fiddle.
